my store in brownsville won’t accept the $2.00 coupon for the schick disposable razor, saying its only for the ones on the picture, which i argued with them and they said they had accepted them before but were not getting reimbursed anymore for the $1.97 pack (12+2free). Is this true or should i call corporate to verify.
i had this issue before with the $6/2 razor printable and they told me they couldnt use it because of the picture but i asked for the manager and she told the cashier it’s the wording not the picture becouse not all stores carry that specific item so manufacters try to give some other options. picture is just a basic referance.
My wal-mart is not accepting the tide coupons either
i have two walmarts in my area, one in portsmouth, a supercenter and one in newington. the one in newington didnt accept most of my coupons but the one in portsmouth did….i dont know why one did and the other didnt but maybe it’s just that stores policy.
the reason that one walmart excepts some coupons and the other doesnt is because of managment i had the same problem last weekend and i was able to use all of my coupons at a walmart that i usually go to….but at the one tat we decided to go to on fri they scrutinized every single coupon…..i hate that…
My Walmart wouldnt accept the Bic coupons.
My Walmart wouldn’t either. My cashier said they wouldn’t scan.
I could see they weren’t scanning, but typically the manager will come in and manually type it in. This coupon specifically states not to pay overage. So, Im assuming maybe that’s why they weren’t scanning and need to be manually entered. This particular manager refused to manually put them in (I had 2). I also had a basket of $200+ worth of stuff, so to say I was quite irritated that she wouldn’t manually enter (2) .93 coupons is an understatement.
The reason the BIC coupons didn’t scan is because they are the newer design with only 1 bar code. If the store hasn’t updated their register’s program to read them they will not scan. All coupons are supposed to be going to the single bar code eventually…which stinks for me because there isn’t a single store in my area with the updated program.
my walmart accepted the BIC coupons but he told me only one per transaction per customer per day…so i asked the man behind me if he would add it to his transaction for me and he did. so i dont think that made the cashier too happy but i still got my two free BIC pens lols
My Walmart accepted the Bic coupons, and the shaver coupons. Haven’t tried the Tide coupon but I might tomorrow.
Palmers cocoa butter with vitamin E swivel sticks are just .17 cents with $2 off coupon from Palmers site and Palmers healing lotion is just .27 cents as well…The coupon is emailed to you as a picture so I printed it a few times but some walmarts will only accept one because the numbers are the same…They tried to deny my tide and Bic coupons but I yelled discrimination…lol….I show other stores the reciept from that trip and they have been accepting the Tide for me
The palmers is in my full list and the Tide is up to the store to decide. It is a much better deal to get the larger size tide and PM it
where is the palmers located in the store? would it be by lotions or travel?
You’ll find the Palmers sticks in the “Ethnic” hair section….not sure why….but that’s where they are.
The jello coupon only took off 72 cent instead of the $1.25. I purchased 15 jello and had 5 Q’s. Walmart just said sorry, and would take my Tide Q either. 🙁
This happened to me also! It only took of $.62 for the three jello’s. The manager came over and did an override on them however so it worked out ok.
This did this to me to–I told the clerk that I clearly bought the 3 products and the coupon was $1.25 and the products were $3.(something)–she had to take the 72 cents from the $1.25 and then adjust the rest as another manufacturer coupon–
My walmart took the Tide coupons for the trial size but I could only use 4 at a time….it was good thought I was able to get 15 tides, 4 2packs of fuzzy socks and 8 packs of gum for less than $.50. 🙂 I was a very happy camper!!!
On Hip2Save, they contacted Tide regarding the travel packet and using the $2/1 coupon on this product. Tide is claiming that the travel product is not affliated with PG products therefore the $2/1 coupon cannot be used on the Tide travel size product.
Sarah, I am aware this Tide deal was my original deal and Collin is a good friend of mine. Here is the update and what was actually said by tide. It doesn’t actually say they won’t honor it, it says the store reserves the right to deny it. This is exactly what I stated on the list.
The coupon does not have a size restriction and is valid on all Tide detergent that is distributed by Procter & Gamble. The single use packets are not distributed by P&G and therefore the store reserves the right to choose not to accept the coupon on that item. I hope this helps with any confusion.
We license the Tide name and actual product to another company (in this case Cotton Buds) to distribute one use packets of the product. It is actually Tide in the package but it is distributed by the other company. Since that product isn’t distributed by P&G the stores reserve the right to deny a manufacturer’s coupon on that product. I hope this helps.

Has anyone had trouble with the travel tide and the m/c $2.00 that was available a few weeks ago? I went into walmart yesterday the register would not accept my $2.00 m/c to be used for the travel size tide. The cashier would not enter it manually asked her super. The supervisor would not accept it because the product was .97 cents and the coupon was a higher value of the product. I took back my coupons gave back the tide travel size. Thats fine because i live in a large city where we have 3 other walmarts i can take these coupons to. I had other items that gave me overage the register accepted with no difficulty (dulcolax, scope travel mouthwash plus a few more i don’t remember off the top of my head). Big lesson i will always take my coupon binder with the store policy every time i shop.
I live in a small town, Greencastle, IN and I am very thankful for my store. If the coupon does not scan, the cashiers are authorized to manually enter them and not have to ask for supervisor. This makes for great customer satisfaction. I have used the Tide coupons every time they come out on the trial size and have never had a problem. My Walmart does limit four coupons per item though.
Anyone had trouble using the $2/1 Minute Maid coupon or the $2/1 Digornio pizza coupons printed from their facebook page not scanning at the register?
