The Home Depot Free Kids Workshops are a wonderful family fun activity for you to family to enjoy. Your child will love the hands-on experience of building and creating a DIY project. These workshops occur on the first Saturday of every month from 9a-12pm and Yes, We said FREE!

Home Depot Free Kids Workshop Schedule for 2019:

The NEXT Home Depot free kids workshop will be Saturday, July 6, 2019, from 9a-12pm and kids will learn how to build a Tow Truck.

You will want to register your child for each event to make sure they are included in the event and enough supplies are provided for all those who participate.

What Kids Get at the Free Home Depot Workshops

Children must be present to receive a project kit, of course. All kids get to keep their project, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.

Looking to take the family out to eat, and save yourself a night of cooking? Don’t miss hitting up these restaurants for Kids Eat Free (or cheap) nights! Tuesday is the golden night when it comes to kids eating free or cheap – but there are a good variety of other nights in our list below as well.

IMPORTANT: Please keep in mind that with all franchise stores, the nights & discounts can vary widely. Make sure to call ahead to confirm before heading out!

Almost Free

These restaurants aren’t completely free, but kids can eat at a very low price.

Applebee’s: Each Applebee’s franchise determines the details of its kid-friendly discounts and offers — with some offering free kids meals with the purchase of an entree by an adult, while others offer kids menu items for under $1.99. Check your local listings for details and find an Applebee’s near you here.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Get a kid’s meal for $1.99 from 4-10PM on Wednesdays at participating locations.
Captain D’s Seafood Kitchen: If you buy a regular-priced dinner, children can eat for 99 cents.
Chevy’s Fresh Mex – Every Wednesday, kids can get a kids meal for just $1 with the purchase of an adult entrée.
Fazolli’s : Every Tuesday from 5PM – 8PM, you can get three kids meals for only $0.99 each with a purchase of an adult entree.
Firehouse Subs: Firehouse offers a wide variety of hot subs, cold subs, calorie-conscious subs, salads and more. On top of supporting first responders, the sub shop offers kids a free drink and Rice Krispy Treat! Check your local location for details.
Friendly’s: Get a kid’s meal for $1.99 on Wednesday, all day.
Fuddruckers: On Mondays from 4 to 9 p.m., kids 12 and under eat for just 99 cents. So not exactly free, but still really cheap! Find a location near you.
McAlister’s Deli: Kids meals are $0.99 every day. Offer is only available at select locations.
Old Country Buffet: With the purchase of one adult buffet, you get can get a kid’s buffet for $1.99. The offer is valid from 4-8 pm on Thursdays.
Piccadilly: Kids 12 and under can eat for just $1.99 all day on Thursdays and 11AM-4PM on Saturdays at participating Piccadilly locations.
Ruby Tuesday: Every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to close, Ruby Tuesday offers free kids meals with the purchase of an adult entree.
Ryan’s: Every Thursday, the buffet is available for children for just $0.99. The offer is valid for kids 11 and under. You can get two kids buffets per adult buffet.
Spaghetti Warehouse: With the purchase of one adult entree, kids age 10 and younger get a kid’s meal for $1.99 on Mondays. There’s a limit of 2 kids per adult.
Steak ‘n Shake: Free kids meal with every $9 purchase on Saturdays and Sundays.
Which Wich: Every Monday and Saturday, kids meals are $0.99 with the purchase of a 7? Wich. The offer is valid for kids 12 and under.
