Kroger has Chili in their sale this week. it means you can combine a nice sale and good coupon to score a sweet deal on some hearty Chili. I know I have posted it before, but I think its worth mentioning again.
I always add some diced tomatoes and chorizo to my Hormel if I don’t have time to make Chili from scratch. It really makes it taste great and gives it a homeade feel, I have actually won a Chili Cook Off this way!
For Our Family it takes 4 cans of chili, 1 can of Diced tomatoes and 1/2 package of Chorizo. Add 1 Package of cheese and I can feed 9 people a hearty meal for under $10.00!

We are HUGE fans of Hormel canned chicken. Many of you that know that I lost 35 pounds over last summer, I did it by cutting out the carbs. Tiffany, ate along with me!

Each day we made “chicken salad” and ate it on lettuce or a deli thin. We just opened a can of chicken, drained it, added a little fat free mayo,Lawry’s seasoning salt, celery, curry and buffalo sauce. It was really good and I never got tired of it!
