Who is heading out to try out the new coupon policy?! I will let you know how that goes!
I don’t want anyone to think it is going to be all roses, I am guessing many of the managers have not even seen the new policy or have any idea what any of it means. They are going to make up reasons why they can’t take the catalinas ( mostly because they don’t know what one is) or just flat out refuse. So be prepared for that. But as you can see, when you keep calling corporate and keep on it, they will start making some changes.
To get you started:
- Go HERE and print some coupons ( make sure to grab the Mens Dove Deodorant one)
- If you want to price match from CVS and Walgreens you have today (SATURDAY) to do it with these match ups. The new ones I will have posted tomorrow.
- Take a look at the Under $1 deals and look for some OVERAGE! If anything is expired let me know!

Well I’m back from WM and it went as I expected. My favorite cashier knew nothing about the new change and had the CSM come over. She knew nothing of the new policy either. Thank goodness I printed off several copies of the coupon policy so I could get overage on my items. They really didn’t know what to say other than “we’ll have to take this up with management” and let my coupons go through. It really pays to take extra copies of the coupon policy because everyone wants one. Ha! Good luck in all your purchases, overage and catalina’s included.

Good seeing you this morning. My trip to your walmart WAS ALL ROSES. The girl I had knew about the new policy and did a great job.
My trip to Wal-Mart went great today. I got in line expecting a fight, but the lady was in too much pain (back pain) to say anything. I even had the policy in hand just in case. The register did ask if the coupon amount was correct. That was with each overage item. 🙂

My wal-mart did say they had a big coupon cashier meeting explaining what coupons they can take and those they cannot, but she still wouldn’t take my catalina (from Smith’s that said $3.00 on your next order). Wasn’t really expecting that she would let me use it but I had it there to try…I heard some stores have designated coupon lanes…wish ours did since I always feel guilty about the people behind me!!

Print out the official corporate Walmart coupon policy which has PICTURES of the coupons they are now taking. Go to the new coupon policy at:

In the upper right hand corner there is a link to a pdf of the coupon policy which says “Our Coupon Policy.” Download and print that, it has pictures! O am carrying both versions of the coupon policy with me and will train these cashiers myself if I have to.
Today I was able to use my Walgreens RR at Walmart! The cashier had to call the check-out manager over, who then had to call the CSM over….the CSM didn’t even know there was an update to the coupon policy! Good thing I had my policy printed out to show her. I am hoping that once they get updated on the changes, they will train their cashiers to be more efficient at accepting the correct coupons.
I went to Wal-Mart with Walgreen’s Register Register Rewards. They did allow me to use them, but I would not have been able to use the Register Reward if I hadn’t brought the coupon policy. In fact the manager said I am sorry but this has to be used at Walgreen’s. I showed her the policy and she gladly took the coupon. So this proves that they have not yet been educated on their new coupon policy. Be prepared to prove yourself. Good Luck!
I went today and got the 97c Purex 2 pack – used the $3 off coupon. Yes it beeps, but it only asked if the coupon value was correct. I also used 2 catalinas as well as 2 Walgreens RR. I also had free coupons from RecycleBank that worked just fine too. With the overage, my 24 items came to $1.23. I don’t expect to get money back, just love that I can use the overage to buy things I don’t have coupons for. Oh Walmart – you have redeemed yourself to me. LOL
i went on friday when it came out. Before I cashed out i asked if she heard about the new coupon policy. She said no, so I said please read this. She read the policy and she had no problems. I got 8 dollars back which needed a csm approval but that was it. It went very good!
