Hi Paul! Do you think the deals are just not as good right now? I’ve noticed a whole lot more lukewarm-to-cold deals being posted…not just by you, and not just at Walmart! 🙁 What do you think? Are really good deals going the way of the dinosaur?
I think there is going to be less Free Stuff, but there are still a lot of really good deals.
Two days ago I took (as I have often) a Tom Thumb coupon that is in their circular and got told no. I and my two babies came home to print out coupon policy and honored it. However, today I took a printed manufacturer coupon from Family Dollar and they still told me no and didn’t even want to try it but I insited and it worked. My question is should they be taking the Tom Thumb coupon? I was told that since it is not a manufacture printed coupon they don’t but Tom Thumb store coupons arent manufactured so what gives?
mary, I would have to see the coupon. If it says $1.00 off or Save % off and there is Not a price listed for the item then they will not take them. It has to be a MFG coupon for those types. Think of it as ad matching and not a coupon. If they don’t know the price they can’t match it
No, the Tom Thumb was an exact price. It was $1.99 for pop tarts, every week Tom Thumb has those store coupons in their circular. Now the Family dollor was $1.00 off but they took that one. It’s so frustrating because know one is of the same page when it comes to this one.
