If you have a Safeway or affiliate store near by, take a look at their in-store coupons. These coupons can be “price matched” to your Walmart plus you can combine a coupon with them. If you are having a problem doing this call corporate and talk to them about your store at 1-800-Walmart.
Anyway, there are a few that make for some killer deals this week!

So I guess Im going to have to switch Walmarts here in Cypress. I took my ad in to price match the Kettle Chips and the gal told me she couldn’t do it because the Randalls ad says with card and coupon. So I pulled out my coupon policy and showed her that Walmart does price match this ad/coupon because it states a specific price. And she still refused to price match. So I politely asked her to call her manager. So the manager came over, read the ad, and read the Walmart coupon policy and still wouldnt price match because it says with card and coupon in the Randalls ad . So I said, ok thank you, I will not be purchasing any of these items since they are all price matched. And I left. How do I deal with this next time it happens? Ask for a store manager not just an assistant manager? I was very upset because I was short on time. Lesson learned in not profiling cashiers! Would love some feedback! Thanks Paul!
If this is the one on 290, I have had problems there as well with price matching competitors coupons. Asked for the manager and she came over and they would not accept them. Pulled out the policy that states they accept them and the manager kept pointing to the manufacture coupon portion of the policy. Called the store the next day to speak to the store manager and got someone else and told me the same thing. Called corporate and they told me that they make a general guideline and it is up to the store manager to make the call. Asked for the DM and he has yet to call or respond to email. I am not sure the store knows exactly about the policy and not sure how to handle it.
I may have to take a trip to that store. Is the DM named Nick?
If I may, whenever I have an issue with an item, I will let them ring everything else up, pay, and then take the other item to c/s to pay..they seem to make sure they make us happy….this has worked for me on more then 1 occassion…beats arguing with the cashier… just a thought hth
