** Hi! This is Tiffany from MyLitter….
There is a new Mitchum coupon out, it works well with the deal at Walgreens this week. However it says Walmart on the coupon, so I am guessing people are going to have trouble using it at Walgreens. So for you Walmart folk, you might be better off!
It is a $1 off Mitchum, found under zip 62946. Now, it is a manufacturer coupon, however it says “available at Walmart” on it. It does not say, “redeem only at Walmart” so technically you should be able to use this coupon at Walgreens. In my experience it FREAKS the cashier out that it says Walmart although it is NOT exclusively a Walmart coupon. Make sense?
I would almost go to Walmart and use it there.
Mitchum or Lady Mitchum deodorant 1.5-2.7 oz 2/$6 (price match to Walgreens)
Use 2 $1/1 coupons found on Coupons.com (use zip 62946)
Total: $4 or $2 each
** Now, I do not know the regular price of Mitchum at Walmart (Paul?) so it might be just as cheap without price matching it!
Somebody told me that Walmart price matches the price after RR. which would make this deal 2/$2 and that’d make it FREE with $1/1 print coupon. (2/$6, get $4 RR) Is this true?
It is true that some stores will match the after RR price. It is NOT the Walmart Policy and most people willnot be able to.
my walmart DOES NOT match or deal with RR discounts n prices, youre better off going to walgreens !!
I have always been able to use those coupons anywhere. Walmart just paid to have their name one it. Its not a Walmart coupon.
I don’t think she said it was a Walmart coupon. Just that some places might give you trouble with it.
If you’re going to price match at Walmart you’re better off price matching CVS’s price this week than Walgreens. CVS has Mitchum Deodorant (excludes 2 pks.) for $1.99 making them only $.99 after coupon. It’s at the bottom on page 8 of the CVS ad this week.
that is a dollar/cents off coupon from another retailer that walmart’s policy prohibits the store from accepting, right? Coupon doesn’t say get this deo for 1.00 so it’s not selling the item for a specific price. It says save 1.00.
Julene, it’s a manufacturer’s coupon not a store coupon so they will accept it. Tiffany was just saying that you could PM if that price is lower than Walmart’s regular price, although the price match for CVS is even better (see my previous post)
there is a coupon for 75cents off mitchum in the 6/26 ss so u can still get it for a quarter each !!
How do you come up with a quarter each?
It sounds like she’s talking about if you get it at Walgreens after subtracting the register reward from your out of pocket expense.
yes, because i know some people may have trouble getting walmart to price match and/or using walmart coupons at walgreens.
If you get them at Walgreens through Saturday, you will pay $2/2 and receive a $2 register reward so you will essentially be getting them for free!…as long as you don’t forget to use your RR like me! 😛
So I had 6 of these $1/1 coupons (we have 3 computers in our house) and I made my husband go with me to Walmart to try and price match these.
I don’t like messing around with Register Rewards … so we tried it out at Walmart.
I brought the ad even though it says we don’t have to. The cashier kindly priced them at $1 each….and then just about croaked when we handed him our $1/1 coupons. He said .. and I quote… “You can’t use a price match AND a coupon….that would make these free”
My husband laughed, and said yeah thats the point. Needless to say, because in the coupon policy it doesn’t restrict the use of coupons with a price match they had to take them.
So I got 6 deodorants for $.53 (just sales tax)
