Thank you so much for this information. I am going to be there tomorrow with the items I have wanted to donate! I just called the store to get their precise location, and they are near the Krogers at the back of The Woodlands near Kuykendahl. So happy that I can be of help in some small way!
I know my fellow couponers are the most generous people in this country. We have seen it with the past disasters and I’m sure this time will be no exception. I wish I was in the area to bring in these much needed supplies. I sure hope TX gets some rain, I will contiue to pray for it.
Wish I was closer to send items your way. Will be emptying my donation stockpile to Red Cross for victims of fires nearer me- Possum Kingdom Lake. Praying for all of those affected by the fires and Bless you Paul and family for setting this up to help others. Hope to hear you had an overwhelming felines in your area. You’re the bestest!
I am from Bastrop.. No longer home of the Lost Pines but home to the worst wildfire in the US. I have seen a lot of people come together for our community however Bastrop is still in great need of the basics for our firefighters and the people who lost their homes, animals, and memories. We have also learned that the Red Cross does not spend the funds donated for the area in the area. If you are trying to donated to a certain area please send them to a local distribution center if you want the items to be used in that community. Thank you
Thank you Mitzi for that information. Did not know that and thought if I took it local it would save shipping/distribution costs to make follarsngo farther. Will contact another place then or see if anyone is perhaps taking items down your way. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Ps overwhelming *response* from previous comment. Darn autofill. :/
I believe that this is how God blesses the US! Through kind, compassionate and giving people. Thank You for giving us ideas and showing us how we can help through using our couponing skills.
Live in another state – would love to know how this turned out?
