Sorry, have to vent a little — Just got back from Walmart, sent my teenage son in the store to get a few items, (2) pkgs of Hamburger Meat – no coupons, (2)-Hillshire Lil Smokies $1/2 printable, (1)-Hormel Party Tray $3 printable, he wanted the Mountain Dew – (2)-$1/2 printable. His turn to pay and the cashier told him they were No Longer accepting Black & White Printable coupons, she even called over the CSM. She also told him they had to be printed in color for them to accept them because of all the coupon fraud they were experiencing. I get that, I really do, but let the consumers know this ahead of time – Update your Coupon Policy. Needless to say, he was so embarrassed, he told them he didn’t want the items, said Thank You and left. All I can say is ‘UNBELIEVABLE WALMART’ – make up your mind. Thanks had to tell somebody. Lol.
It actually says in their policy that coupons can be black and white. Good for him for trying to use them in the first place.
Thanks Paul. Lol, he doesn’t mind using coupons, he knows how much they help save us money. He says as long as I don’t send him with a long list, he’s okay with it.
I did look up their Coupon Policy again and it hasn’t been updated yet, and you’re right, it still states they accept Printable black and white coupons, but I guess each store is allowed to determine their ‘own policy’. Oh well.
