HP will be discontinuing this and its a great price but they are also going to abandon you on any bugs you need fixes for also. Not sure about it because of it
just so everyone knows check your local walmart they marked down the touch pads to $99 for the 16 GB and $150 for the 32gb. Some may still have some in the back hiding. My dear husband ended up getting 2 of them that way. If they never marked the sale price on the shelf it will ring up at the sale price, just a heads up
According to some recent Amazon reviews HP discontinuing all webOS hardware. That means you won’t be able to get any news APS or software updates for this. Just consider that before dropping $100 on it.

if you are worried about the software or not bugs not being fixed, you can go to http://www.precentral.com. it has everything pre and webos. they are also working on way to root the touchpad so you can install android on it. plus, you can get kindle books on it so, that makes it cheaper than an amazon kindle or barns and noble nook. hp said sent out a memo to developers of apps. for webos telling them not to abandon the software cause they still have plans for it. hope this helps.
