We are in California for my sisters wedding this weekend. I wanted to run into Walmart quick this morning and see what the prices are like and grab a few things while I had the coupons. I was in charge of lunch today and breakfast in the morning. We are having turkey and cheese sandwiches (Sara Lee and Sargento) and breakfast burritos (TortillaLand and Jimmy Dean).
I had some help shopping so ignore the GoGo Squeezes, I didn’t have coupons but my helper has me wrapped around her finger.

I felt like the grocery prices we about the same, just possibly a little higher then in TX. This is the thing… IF YOU ARE NOT PRICE MATCHING in CA, you are WASTING a tremendous amount of MONEY! They have EVERY store possible to price match to. I can’t believe the stores they have! There were 11 different grocery stores within 5 miles. They have all 3 drug stores. Plus, Trader Joes and a bunch of hispanic grocery stores with AWESOME produce and meat prices. If you live in southern California you need to be price matching at Walmart!
