From Melissa in AL, she found a GREAT clearance deal on the Disney Castle! It was marked at $69.50 down from $139.97. This could almost be put away for next Christmas at that price.

Melissa, also found some really good deals on the “drop pallets” in her store. I know you have seen these, they are the just what they sound like, big boxes of items on a pallet that they drop in the middle of the aisles.

Sometimes you are not going to have coupons for those items. But they are normally priced well enough that it isn’t the end of the world to not have a coupon.

These clearance finds in from a reader in AL.

The AXE holiday gift set was marked down to $4.75 and I used the $3/1 coupon from coupons.com and also the $3.75/1 coupon from 12/2 Smart Source.  Scored one for $1.75 and four for $1 each after coupons.  Also, I found the transparent tape marked down from .97 to $.25, they were in a box display in the aisle.  Yesterday, I found the 20oz. Palmolive liquid dish soap Festive Cranberry on clearance for $1 on a metal rolling rack in Hoover, AL

Hopefully you printed the AXE coupons, because I believe that they are gone ( can anyone find them on coupons.com?) but if you didn’t print them, look for the SS ones.

There are so many good deals in the store right now! They are going to vary from store to store, and so yours might not have the same deals, but you will have others.

From Ashley in Indiana –  I shop at Wal-Mart all the time and love to price match and their overage policy.  This is my day after Christmas haul, that I braved the start of a blizzard to get! Retail for the haul was $644, and I only spent $112 (this is including tax).  An 83% savings!

I had to run in and price check a few things tonight and so I wanted to get a few of the deals from the coupons we got in this past Sunday’s paper.

However I am sad to report that the Olay coupon beeped. My cashier read the coupon and said that she thought I needed to “use it on a trial sized item.” I explained that it says ” NOT to be used on trial sized” and she shook her head and typed it in.  I can imagine that a few of you might have a problem using it if it beeps. It says Age Defying Product and the bars say Age Defying, plus there is a picture of bars in the pic.

But really? The cashiers interpretation is that I needed to use it on a trial size item! Oh. My. Gosh.
