YES. Walmart will price match a mega event deal.

YES and NO. Do you have to buy 10 items, like you do at Kroger? Some cashiers will require you to purchase 10 mix and match of the mega event items. Some do NOT require you to.

Many items will be gone at Kroger, plus we have found that Walmart will have a better selection of flavors so we have done better at Walmart. IF your Kroger still doubles and triple you will probably want to shop the sale there, but for us, with no doubles or triples, we do better at Walmart!

This is a quick price match matchup for you to look at for tomorrows ad. How do you like my collage skills above? I know, not great , but you get the point!

O.K. so those pictures are all from the ad you will get Sunday. You can take the ad to Walmart and get everything at the same price as you would at Walgreens. The benefit is that if you don’t want to make different trip or if your Walgreens is out, you can still get the sale price. The items that I highlight in these deals, are Walgreens prices that are LOWER than the Walmart price.

Starting tomorrow at CVS, they have the Suave priced at $1.50 each (these are $1.97 at Walmart) use the $0.50 off one Suave Everlasting Sunshine product to get it for only $1 each!

Safeway HOT Deals this week to Price Match!

The Walmart Coupon policy talks about accepting competitors coupons. This is what they have to say:

Competitors’ coupons

• A specific item for a specified price, for example, $2.99
• Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price
• Have a valid expiration date • Are acceptable in black and white

An amazing example of this, is this weeks Safeway (or Safeway affiliate store) store ad.

This is the 3rd page of the ad that came out today. Above is an ENTIRE page of “competitor” coupons that you can use at Walmart. Because each coupon lists a specific price you can use them at Walmart. This is how it works.

You take the ad, find the item you want, if it is less in the Safeway ad you want to use the ad. Now, when you are at the register, you tell the cashier…

“I want to price match this item to the Safeway price of ……”

Then show them the Safeway coupon. They are not going to scan the Safeway coupon. Basically, they just override the price as a price match and give you the Safeway price and you keep that Safeway store coupon. Now, you can also use a manufacturer coupon on top of this. Why? Because the first price change was a price match and now you can use a “cents off” manufacturer coupon on top of that. If you have a problem doing this at your store, call 1-800-walmart and ask them to inform the store manager of the Walmart coupon policy.

My favorite deal this week that I am getting from the Safeway ad at Walmart is the Kingsford Charcoal for only $6.99! This actually beats the Kroger price I posted about earlier today. There is a $2.00 off meat with purchase of Kingsford charcoal.

There is a new $1.00 off TWO Kellogg’s Cereals coupon that just came out. But, also there is an upcoming CVS deal that you can price match to Walmart. Thanks Wild For CVS!

Starting Sunday the 18th CVS will have the Kellogg’s Raisin Bran on sale for $1.77. There is also a $10 Gas Card rebate that you can send in for.
