I’ve compiled a list of Houston area price matches on produce at Walmart. Save money and time by picking it up at one location, instead of five!

No matter where you purchase produce, make sure you clean it well before you eat it. Soak it in a bowl with 1 part white vinegar to three parts water for one to two minutes. Then drain and pat dry. This will keep your produce fresher and much cleaner.

Just a reminder that this list expires Saturday! Be sure to look for next week’s Back To School Price Match list next Sunday.

A lot of kids may be getting a list from their teachers of additional school supply items they will need. There are still some great deals this week, even as school has and is starting.

Have you seen all the cool stuff they have at Classrooms by Walmart? You can find virtually every school supply list by school and grade in the country, as long as they have been uploaded. They get all of this information by people uploading lists for everyone else in their area. They even have a great section for teachers.

State Fair Hot Dogs for only $0.53

Heads up! In the paper this Sunday, there is a coupon for $0.75/1 State Fair Product (exp. 10/6/13, RP 08/25/13 R). I found these at my local Walmart with the rest of the hot dogs and lunch meat. The 12 packs of State Fair hot dogs are only $1.28! The coupon is for any State Fair product, so this makes for a savings of over 50%.
