If you are new to Legos and are on the fence, I can tell you that we have been buying Legos for many years and they just don’t go on sale that often. The Walmart 2012 Holiday Toy Book was released just a little bit ago! Time for the kids to grab a sharpie and start circling!

The 2012 Walmart Layaway Program for the Holiday Season has been announced and I have some really exciting news for you. I think it is awesome! There are some key changes that make it a no brainer for this Holiday Season.

You are now able to pay with cash when you purchase something at Walmart.com.

I think this is a great idea for a few reasons.

There are items you can only get online.
If you are an envelope system, cash using family, this is awesome!
Perfect for people who don’t use credit or debit cards.

You can basically price match to Walmart.com now!!

I went in and “bought” something to see what my choices were. Sure enough, the cash option is there! Just choose cash and “site to store” to get free shipping and pick it up a few days later as if you bought it in the store!

There is both a $5 Filtrete rebate and a $10 Filtrete coupon (try 77477) for the Filtrate systems at Walmart. These are really nice and this would be a good way to get one for less. Plus there is also a $5 Filtrete Advanced water kit coupon as well.

This could also be a gift to someone for Christmas. Is our family the only weird people who give gifts like this?

The Scariest Thing I’ve Seen at Walmart this Halloween!

I don’t watch horror movies, and never have, I don’t like to be freaked out and I am way to visual of a person. I was not prepared to see this horrifying display at my Walmart store clearly and cleverly displayed to scare all parents. Can you believe it is that time of year again already? I don’t know about you but this is scarier than any ghost or goblin I have ever seen!

The ornaments started creeping in like a zombie apocalypse about about three weeks ago! I have been so disturbed by it all I couldn’t even write about it until now, I have been trying to spare you the nightmares I have been going through! I just keep thinking: “I have 7 kids, 7 kids, 7 kids!”

I would estimate that about 15-20% of the store is already dedicated to Christmas. Three isles and the entire Home & Garden Center. It’s not even Halloween and a full month from Thanksgiving! What about the Pilgrims?? Don’t Forget about the Pilgrims!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
