In your Walgreens ad that you will get this Sunday 10/16, they are offering Bayer Aspirin for $.99 with in-store coupon. You can price match this at your Walmart and get some for free!
::DEAL IDEA::
Buy Bayer Aspirin ( price match to Walgreens) for $.99
Use $1/1 Bayer aspirin products (exp 12/31/2011) 9/11/2011 RP
Total: FREE!
Cool! Thanks! 🙂
just wondering why I would need to price match at Walmart. If its on sale at Walgreens couldn’t I just use the coupon there? Maybe a stupid question but I am new to all this. Thanks in advance for the help
It’s for people that don’t want to make a special trip to Walgreens to buy aspirin. That’s really the whole point behind any price matching.
And….Walgreens is usually out of stock on the first day! My Walgreens even goes as far as limiting to 2 per WEEK!
Even better, if you have the $2/1 coupon from the 9/11 RedPlum – you’ll score $1.01 overage :o) It’s an ANY coupon!
if it is a walgreens coupon in their paper and not a regular sale walmart will not let you price match. i already tried.
WalMart’s policy specifically states it will honor:
Competitors’ coupons
1)A specific item for a specified price, for example, $2.99
2)Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price
3)Have a valid expiration date
4)Are acceptable in black and white

@ida per the wal-mart coupin policy they should let you do it it states they take store coupons
My sale papers did not have the walgreens ad. Does anyone spring/ houston area have an extra one? my email is rdhtwn@gmail.com
Why don’t you just go to Walgreens? It’s online and also on the Walgreens android app.
I Price matched, then handed the cashier my coupons, I bought 2, I also had 2 eye shadows and two eye pencils and two $8/any 2 loreal face makeup… my total still came out to $1 and change… when the cashier asked her boss, She sturnly told me that I CANNOT price match and use a coupon on the some product. I told her that it was on this website.. and that I had never had a problem before.. the eye shadows and eye pencils were all under $4.00 each… so if anything I was thinking that there would be an overage.. Im so confused 🙁 BTW, this is the Lawton, OK Super Walmart on Quanah parker..
Also, even though they said that I couldn’t do that, she instructed the cashier to keep my coupons! we were both super confused…
The eye products are not the proper use of the coupons. But they should not have accepted them for that product. You are absolutely right that you can Price Match and use a coupon.
Ok, the first time I used one, everyone had grabbed the eye shadows.. one lady said that because it said face product, as opposed to a nail or hair product.. that day, all but two of the eye shadows, and 4 of the blushes were gone, it looked as though everyone had decided this as well. and when I asked the cashiers, they just said that they would try it.. I didn’t mean to wrongly use the coupons.
How do you convince them that you are right, when they think they are right about the price matching and using coupons? because she then told the cashier, who was like “Oh I didn’t know that! I thought that we could price match and use coupons” that, THAT was how it is. she was even mad about it all 🙁
Then after she said that, I asked if could have my coupons back, and she told that cashier to put them in her drawer.
sorry, I posted that twice..
The $2 coupons are for Advanced which is not the types on sale.
Very frustrating when I am not getting some of the coupons that you guys are in my SS and RP. I did not get that bayer coupon. I did get a St. Joe one though. Like this Sunday, I did not get the Nestle and the Land o lakes coupons in the SS. Err…
paul is there a way i can print any thing off your page , for when i go to the store, i have been looking, but dont see anything???
If Walmart price matches the Walgreens price on this; it would be considered using a competitor coupon right (since its on sale for $0.99 after in store coupon)? If that is the case, I wouldnt be able to use the manufacturer coupon to pay for it — as they allow 1 coupon per item? I am new at price matching at Walmart, I want to make sure I am interpreting this correct.
