Question on price match! Ok so you post a price on this site and then I go to my store here in ND and the price is way off. Like soft soap, your site says it is 98c and I go to the store here and it is $2. Can I price match that. I am thinking not but had to ask! thanks.
Price Match Policy- Is there a specific mile radius posted anywhere in their ad match policy? In other words if a store is 20 miles away from the WalMart I’m shopping at can I price match that store’s advertised prices? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I had a horrible experience at my local WalMart last night. I was also told by an employee that they do not price match “those Spanish stores”. She then continued to say some CSMs allow it and others say no to price matching “those Spanish stores”. Being that I’m Latina I was both offended by her comment and incredibly upset. Although, I feel an apology is called for I’ll settle for being able to price match items I need in order to complete my upcoming holiday meal. Unfortunately, I had to leave most of the items I was there to purchase for as they did not allow me to price match that particular store. I read through their policy and didn’t see anything regarding how near or far a store should be in order to price match. I also understand that managers have the ultimate say. I’m just curious if there is in fact a specified mile radius for price matching. Thanks!
no, it is up to each store manager to determine how far away his competitors are. the general rule of thumb is 15-50 miles depending on population.
