I was in the store last night when I started seeing coupons everywhere on the shelves. If I have a coupon I don’t need I always leave but, but yesterday someone went NUTS. I am sure they made a bunch of shoppers really happy!

I always like to do that with my “baby” coupons. I know I appreciated it when I found them when my guy was little. I pass them along when I can.
i do that with baby coupons too because i remember how desperate i was when mine were babies
I AM a coupon fairy–that’s what I call it, too. 🙂
I’m also constantly telling the people on my website that several of our local libraries have coupon bins. Patrons drop off unclipped inserts. Volunteers like me clip them, sort them and leave them for others to use.
Pay it forward!
Oh This is Cute… I hope you kept all the coupons you found..lol =D
Someone did this at my walmart too over the weekend. I thought it was a nice gesture and will make someone’s day!
I love being a “coupon fairy”!
Cute! It’s like Postsecrets.
Yes yes yes! I do this all the time, glad to hear others do too!
Yes, I become a “coupon fairy” at times when I am at the store.
Donated a huge pile of Qs to the library basket today. Also started leaving Qs for restaurants at the mall food court. From now on I’m clipping EVERY coupon, then find someplace to leave ones I don’t want.
im often a coupon fairy i also give people coupons when i see them put something in their cart that i know i will not need
I LOVE to see the excitement and surprise on people faces when I had them a coupon for something they put into their cart! Being a coupon fairy is the BEST! 🙂
I’ve NEVER heard of or seen a coupon fairy! I’m hoping to see one soon though and will have to start doing it myself too!
There is a coupon fairy at my Walmart but they go the extra mile and actually tape the coupon onto the product to make sure that it stays. Thank you coupon fairy.
I was a coupon fairy when being a coupon fairy wasn’t cool.
LOL! I’m old enough to remember the song by Barbara Mandrell. Are you?
The coupon fairy graced me at Walmart this weekend. Someone left an A1 coupon that my insert did not have. I plan to pay it forward by giving my neighbor all my baby coupons. Thanks coupon fairy!!!
I saw someone had left some at my Walmart last weekend. I LOVE this idea. My first instinct was to grab it because of course I gravitate towards coupons. 🙂 But it wasn’t anything I was buying so I left it for the next person.
I did this once. A walmart employee then went up and down the aisle taking them all down and putting them in the trash. I no longer coupon fairy at walmart :/
I always wonder about that. I usually just leave them if it costs too much for my budget and expires that day or the next day.
I do it all the time too.
But I have a funny story. Once I spotted a perfectly good but mildly dented can of baby formula on the clearance shelf at Walgreens. And I had a coupon that combined with the clearance price made it something like $0.40. I was going to buy it to put in my donate box but decided to leave the coupon RIGHT NEXT to the can so that someone could score this great deal that day. The can of formula was origially @$9 mind you. Well three days later, the can and coupon were still next to each other untouhed. And then a few days after that…the same. I was shocked that no one took advantage. So by the third time, I took back my coupon and bought the silly can myself to donate to my favorite women’s shelter. I tried for more than a week but I guess no one wanted my coupon fairy dust that time!
I am totally a coupon fairy. When I lived in Portland, I was excited to find coupons that people had left next to things on the store shelves. I started to do the same thing and it’s a lot of fun! When I have coupons expiring or I just can’t use that many of the item, I just leave them on the shelf for others. You always get paid back in return by another coupon fairy along the way. It just another great part of being a couponer.
I am definitely a coupon fairy – and thats what my hubby calls me too 🙂 My only problem is I try to leave coupons in different stores (including Walmart) and have seen many store workers taking all the coupons off the shelf and throwing them away. It makes me mad that they dont let others save – after all, they make money too!! Now I just pass out coupons when I see someone with an item in their cart that I have a coupon for. I also “stalk” new parents in the baby aisle and give them any baby coupons they might need for formula and diapers. LOL. Most of them are so appreciative and have NO idea that they can get these coupons mailed to them too!! Always makes me feel good 🙂
oh my god I’m a shopper stalker too LMAO!!!! Sometimes they look at you like you have two heads until they finally realize what you are trying to do.. Its soooo funny sometimes… I’ll see them with an item in their cart and my brain goes “I have a coupon for that!!!!” and of course we all have coupons that we know we probably won’t use so there I go flipping through the binder like a mad woman to grab the Q before they can get away LOL
Whoops! You caught me! lol
I admit, I do it too….The other day I told a mom about the huggies flushables while I was dropping a stack of 60 + coupons.she bought all 60 packs of wipes…I was SUPER happy to see her use them! I hope she starts couponing now!!!!!
I was doing that and loved it when I was on the recieving end….someone left 10 $3/1 Similac once and my kid actually eats the stuff. Combine that with the ones I already had (6 of the $5/1 and 6 of the $3/1) plus the 10 of each that I won in a giveaway (yay), I now have a stockpile of formula and that was one thing I never thought I’d be able to stockpile. =)
However, I just discovred Coups for Troops and have decided that would be a better way for me to give instead of being the “fairy”.
I saw a lady w/ carefree pantiliners in her cart yesterday @ walmart so i dropped a coupon right on top of the liners when she walked away from her cart. I was also by the lunchables & saw a woman debating on buying the ones with the temptations jello in them so i gave her a $1 Q for it & she was very appreciative! I love blessing others.
I have done this with baby formula coupons, baby wipes, diapers and toddler snacks.
Spread the love!
xoxo

I am a coupon fairy! I did this the other day and my husband said “What are you doing”
If my cashier is slow or I am waiting for the dreaded manager to come fix a problem, I always flip through my binder and try and find a coupon for the person behind me. They are much more patient when they too will be getting cents off!!
what a great idea! I did this once just because I happened to notice the guy behind me was buying coffee creamer and I don’t drink it so gave him those coupons… but I will start making a conscious effort to do this from now on.
Thanks for the tip!
