63 Sam’s Club locations across the US are closing

Walmart has announced that they are closing 63 Sam’s Club Stores across the US as early as Thursday. The remaining stores will stay open for several weeks before closing permanently. Walmart is attributing the decision to the need to better fill online orders, less population growth than expected in some markets.

Customers that are affected by the closing of those stores will be refunded, according to Walmart officials.
