If someone really would like to do something that is benefical to us couponers, they need to strart a free service where you can go and get coupons that you did not get in the past. its totally awesome here where they tell you what you can get for free, but NO one has a service where you can get the coupons from a month or 2 ago that you need now to get these awesome deals. so what do you think who is gonna start that service? have a good day getting all that free stuff
Darryl, great idea…i see deals and freebies on coupon sites and wasn’t able to get the sunday paper. It would be nice to be able to do this. Wish I could. No time. Hopefully someone will ‘soon’.
no what they need to do is get coupon websites that dont take you to other websites if the coupon is on their website then you should be able to print it from that website
There are four basic sites where printables are housed. Coupons.com, Smartsource.com, Redplum.com, and CouponNetwork.com. Beyond that coupons are provided on the manufacturer’s site. You can print directly from any of those. Those sites service the coupons as allowed by the manufacturer to limit prints per person, and then total prints available. So those are the sites where they are. Websites and blogs can only link to those sites. The websites are prividing you with tips to help you find the coupons, which otherwise would take a long time to find. The “find a coupon” database on this website is an invaluable tool. It is an incredible timesaver, and it let’s you know when you’ve exhausted all avenues on a particular product.
The benefit of using someone’s site to link to the coupons is they’ve already done the “legwork” for you. For instance, on this database, you have links “printable” to all coupons available at the time. If you search a brand name, like “Pedigree” it gives you all the coupons and their whereabouts available at the time, so you don’t have to go back and flip thru tons of inserts to find it. If there are printables, you go straight to them.
Comment From Paul. I have edited to put my links in as this is the only way we generate revenue from the site. This is what helps keep the site and all this information free. It is the same as any other blog that is out there. Thanks!
Darryl, please clarify what you mean. If you buy a couple papers each Sunday, save the inserts in file folders (so you don’t have to do all that clipping and organizing) and when deals come up weeks later, you have the coupon. Otherwise, go on Ebay or some other clipping service, and buy the individual coupons you need. Using a database like this one lets you know what insert date the coupons appeared, so it is easy to pull and cut them.
Printables come and go at the whim of the manufacturer. They authorize x amount of prints, then they are no longer available.
I get the All You Magazine, they tell you NOT to buy coupons online. The article said a lot of the coupons people sell are either outdated or counterfeit. With all the web sites like this one, coupons.com, redplum and so on, I wouldn’t buy coupons online, I think it’s ridiculous to sell or buy them but that’s me.
I sell and buy coupons online, they aren’t supposed to be outdated or counterfeit otherwise the seller would have to refund the money to the buyer on ebay. If you use a trusted website like ebay your purchases are protected and they have strict guidelines to selling coupons on Ebay.
Sharing coupons would be a great idea if you could find someone to count on! I have tons of coupons from months ago that are nearing expiration and they are for products I dont personally use. If anyone would like to coupon swap with me (I live in Iowa, by the way) then email me at nicholelks@live.com
Please always keep in mind the importance of being very very careful when sharing internet printed coupons. With (ip) it is highly illegal to copy them as manufactures have a set limit of coupons they make available. Not only is this illegal but the store will not get reimbursed from the manufacture and therefore not be very happy with us couponers. Further, If you pass an (ip) coupon on and it winds up being copied and thus used fraudulently it is again, highly illegal and can and will be traced back to the internet address from which it was originally copied and you will be the party held responsible.
