Free Kashi Bar + $.74 overage!

by Paul on February 10, 2012

If you are not a member at Recycle Bank you should be! You can see below what Recycle Bank is all about. Right now you can go and get a $2 off coupon for any Kashi Product. If you use this coupon at your Walmart to get the Kashi Go Lean bars for $1.26 you will get $.74 in overage!

Recycle Bank is a great way to get high value coupons and get prizes. You get points that you can cash in for all kinds of stuff! I am hearing from some people that the coupon is taking 100 points not 50.

RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes. You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available. Thanks Hip2Save for the write up!

I am not sure. The same thing happened to me today, the coupon wouldn’t scan and they wouldn’t take the coupon. The cashier rolled her eyes and when the people in back of me started actually yelling at me that I was taking too long, the cashier said, well you know what COUPONS are like, and again rolled her eyes. It was so embarrasing. And then she said to me, “you know you aren’t allowed to photo copy coupons dont you!?” Of course I know that!
I wish cashiers and other customers wouldn’t make me feel so bad about trying to feed my family on a very small budget. That is all most of us are trying to do, just feed our families and make sure there is still enough money for the rent.

If you live in IL, IA, KS, MN, MO, NE, SD, or WI, near a Hy-Vee. Take your $2/1 Kashi coupon over there and you can pick up a Kashi frozen pizza on sale for $2.49 AFTER coupon! My husband and I each have an account, and so we ended up with two pizzas for $5.07 after tax! @ Daniell. I don’t know what you mean about your town not being in connection with Recyclebank. Everyone can earn points on this site. I live in the middle of nowhere, in a town with less than 400 residents and I have no problem earning points. Sign up and explore the site. These coupons cannot be posted on I Heart the Mart because you have to redeem your points for the coupons. Some you can print at home, some they mail to you. Last year, I got a lot of cheap and at times free produce when Earthbound Farms (found at many Walmarts) offered $2/2 coupons as a reward. You can also redeem codes from certain boxes of Kashi cereal (printed on the inside of the box) for points. They are worth 50 points per box:)

I am unable to find these in my local store – Could you tell me where they are located in yours? Maybe I am overlooking them?

I was trying to find these Kashi bars but no luck where they are located. Can someone tell me where I can find these at Walmart?

They are near the pharmacy with the other diet/nutrition items in my Walmart.
