The $0.94 Rayovac Batteries are not the Alkaline batteries. They are Zinc Chloride for long lasting devices. You cannot use this coupon on them.

Jen, that is what I thought too. I have been given many reports by people that they are the blue packs are this price. The ZC are red. Unless they have changed their packaging. I have not made it to Walmart tonight.

The “heavy duty” come in a yellow pack 97 cents (at my store) and are NOT alkaline. When I tried to use the coupon it came up as not purchasing the item.

how can you use both coupons if you are only allowed to use one manufacturers coupon per purchase?

I am not sure what you mean. I was givnig scenarios for both coupons. I was not implying that they can be used on the same pack of batteries

I used to be over that department when I worked for Walmart and there are no Alkaline batteries that are less than $1.97

I just visited a Walmart and found these exact batteries – for $2.97 per 4 pack. This is not the deal presented.

Try looking for AA or AAA in a two pack, which should be under one dollar or around that. Just remember not all the stores have the same price and price varies between regions.

@ Scott: Thanks for the idea, and I did try that, but the store only had 4ct or larger.

As noted, the product shown (Rayovac SKU:815-4F) is not $1 anywhere that I can find either locally or online, it has a list price of $3 which would not allow for the final price shown. I will be giving away the $1 and $0.55 Rayovac coupons.
