The Walmart in Cypress, Tx WILL NOT price match Dollar General. I have called Corporate about this issue and they refuse to match as they do not consider them a “local competitor”. Although the ad is sold in Houston Chronicle that Wal-Mart sells. I have gone head to head with CSM’s about this and they will not price match it. Policy or not, they will not honor it.

The Oreos in the Dollar General Ad are 10.1-10.3oz and I think that Walmart does not have that size. The Oreos that I buy for $2.xx at Wal-Mart are 15.35oz. I was so excited until I saw the size! I hope that helps!
The ad in my paper said the Tombstone pizzas were for $3.75. I also checked online and the official DG site’s ad says the same.

My Dollar General Ad indicates that the GE Soft White Long Life Light Bulbs are 75 cents! That’s a great price to me
I plan on price matching the Dr Pepper 2 liters at 75 cents each–hopefully it will include Dr Pepper Ten b/c I have FOUR 1.00 off a 2-liter coupons for Dr. Pepper Ten. That will give me a $1.00 overage (.25 overage per 2-liter X 4=$1.00) that I plan to use to buy the light bulbs. It’s the little things that make me happy! Happy Turkey Day to all!!
