::HOT:: OVERAGE on Cover Girl at Walmart!

by Paul on October 1, 2011

This is an image of the Cover Girl $8/2 that is in the 10/2 P&G, it says “two Cover Girl Face Products”. I have gotten the confirmation that blush is considered a “face product”. Wow, the things you learn everyday!

At my store the Cover Girl blush is $3.74, making $.26 overage on each one. This coupon is a P&G and has a limit if 4 per transaction.

::DEAL IDEA::
Buy 8 Cover Girl blush (not sure why you need this many?!) $3.74
Use 4 $8/2 Cover Girl Product 10/2 P&G
Total: $2.08 in overage!

**Logically, your eyes and lips are on your face but Cover Girl was contacted and they consider face products to be: Foundations, concealer, bronzer, powder, blush and face tools.

Can anyone help me with this problem. I just left Walmart and they said that I cannot use the coupons on blush. The manager informed me that I can only use it on the products listed on the page that I clipped the coupon from. I told them it states face products. Does anyone know who I need to contact regarding this issue?

Thanks for answering my question but the manager did not want to hear anything that I was trying to tell him. He said that Covergirl has a promotion going on the new products listed on the page where I clipped it from. Who may be able to answer my question? They made me feel like I was stealing. I was simply going by what was printed on the coupon.

I tried my first coupon deal at Walmart yesterday. I got the Rayovak flashlight and the Listerine Zero. I used two coupons which made them both free but then the register called for a manager (which took several embarrassing minutes). I had to pay 6 cents tax (which is fine) but they did not give me back any $. I guess I’m confused… what is an overage? I want to do this deal on Cover Girl, but don’t want to go thru that mess again. Do some of you get money back at Walmart?

it is against my better judgement to let you pimp kroger, but it is a pretty sweet deal! congrats.
